Horse racing: thoroughbred racing.
What changed between versions
Amendment markup was resolved into clean final text. For example, 'Any A license' became 'A license,' 'any an association' became 'an association,' and 'may shall not' became 'shall not.' These are formatting cleanups, not policy changes.
Website navigation elements (search bar, links to bill information, votes, history, etc.) were added to the document presentation. These are not part of the legislative text.
The thoroughbred claiming price limit at quarter horse tracks is set at $6,000 (up from the prior law's $5,000). This was already in the Amended Senate version and is carried forward unchanged into the final text.
The distance restriction for thoroughbred races at quarter horse tracks (previously limited to 4.5 furlongs or less) has been removed, allowing thoroughbred racing at any distance. This was already in the Amended Senate version and is carried forward unchanged.
