Invasive pests: lists.
Summary
Existing law requires the Department of Food and Agriculture to develop and maintain a list of invasive pests, as defined, that have a reasonable likelihood of entering California for which a detection, exclusion, eradication, control, or management action by the state might be appropriate. This bill would require the department to post the list on its internet website.

MINOR
No substantive policy changes were made between these two versions. The differences are entirely in document formatting: the first version is a plain-text extraction of the bill (with line numbers and page markers), while the second is a web page rendering of the same bill from the California Legislature website, complete with navigation menus and site chrome.
TECHNICAL
The only differences are presentational: the second version adds website navigation elements (home, accessibility, FAQ, search boxes, bill tracking links) and reformats the layout. The actual legislative text amending Section 5261 of the Food and Agricultural Code is identical in both versions.
