Relative to International Credit Union Day.

This bill designates Thursday, October 17, 2024, as International Credit Union Day in California to honor the contributions of credit unions to the state's communities. It recognizes credit unions as not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperatives that have served over 393 million members globally, including nearly 14 million in California. The resolution calls on all Californians to acknowledge and appreciate the service and commitment of these financial institutions. The measure was adopted by the Assembly without opposition and will be transmitted to the author for distribution.
