Public employees' retirement.
Summary
Existing law, the California Public Employees' Pension Reform Act of 2013, prescribes various limits on public employee retirement systems and public employers, as specified. The act generally prohibits a retired person from being employed by a public employer in the same public retirement system from which the retiree receives pension benefits without reinstatement from retirement into that system, subject to certain exceptions. This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
