Insurance adjusters.
Summary
Existing law, the Insurance Adjuster Act, sets forth various requirements with respect to operation as an insurance adjuster in this state, among others, licensing, emergency licenses, and discipline. Existing law authorizes the Insurance Commissioner to appoint inspectors, investigators, and other personnel as necessary to enforce the provisions of the act. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to that provision.
