AB 1420 California Assembly · 2013-2014 Regular Session

State government: state agencies: reports.

Summary
Existing law requires various state agencies to submit certain reports, plans, evaluations, and other similar documents to the Legislature and other state agencies. This bill would eliminate provisions that require certain state agencies to submit certain reports to the Legislature and other state agencies. The bill would also modify requirements of certain reports by requiring, among other things, that reports be placed on the Internet Web site of the reporting agency rather than to be submitted to the Legislature or other state agencies, or requiring certain state agencies to collaborate with other state agencies in preparing those reports. The bill would also modify cross-references. This bill would make various conforming changes.
