Probation: electronic monitoring.
Summary
Existing law authorizes a county probation department to utilize continuous electronic monitoring to electronically monitor the whereabouts of persons on probation. Existing law allows a continuous electronic monitoring system to have the capacity to notify a county probation department of a probation violation. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these provisions.
