Floating homes: registration and titling.

The Mobilehomes-Manufactured Housing Act requires that all floating homes, as defined, meet certain titling and registration requirements. Existing law requires floating homes subject to real property taxation to be subject to registration and titling by the Department of Housing and Community Development only at the time of sale, resale, or transfer of title. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to the provision of law relating to floating home registration and titling requirements.
