Relative to the Dairy Industry.

This measure would encourage the President, the Congress, and the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture to acknowledge the importance of the dairy industry nationwide as well as the unique aspects of the dairy industry region by region by enacting legislation or regulations that update the federal dairy product price support program to reflect today's cost of production, implement fair tariffs on unregulated imported dairy solids, mandate greater market transparency, and support a milk supply management program.
