Relating to: funding for grants for community emergency medical services and falls prevention initiatives and making an appropriation. (FE)

AB 1001 creates a new grant program to fund community emergency medical services (EMS) programs that employ community paramedics or practitioners, appropriating $600,000 for fiscal years 2025-26 and 2026-27. It also separately increases funding for falls prevention initiatives by $200,000 annually for the same fiscal years.
