Recognizing Donate Life Month in Washington state.

This Senate Resolution (SR 8637) recognizes April as National Donate Life Month in Washington state. It honors organ, eye, and tissue donors and their families while raising public awareness about the critical need for organ donations. The resolution does not create new policies or programs but symbolically acknowledges the lifesaving impact of donations (one donor can save up to eight lives) and the daily reality of 100,000 Americans awaiting transplants. It was adopted by the Washington State Senate on April 2, 2025.
