Joint resolution relating to compensation of House Managers of Articles of Impeachment

This bill establishes compensation and expense reimbursement for House managers who would prosecute impeachment articles against Franklin County State's Attorney John Lavoie and Franklin County Sheriff John Grismore. It authorizes these managers to act on behalf of the House of Representatives while the legislature is not in session to prepare, present, and prosecute any impeachment resolutions to the Senate. The managers would receive daily pay at one-fourth of the standard legislative compensation rate and expense reimbursement, limited to four days per week when the House is not seated. This resolution applies only if the House of Representatives votes to impeach the named officials following the Special Committee's investigation.
