An act relating to retail delivery of alcoholic beverages by third-party contractors

This bill allows liquor store license holders to use approved third-party delivery services to deliver alcoholic beverages to customers aged 21 and older. The law requires third-party delivery companies to be approved by the state Department of Liquor Control and mandates that their drivers complete a specific training program. Deliveries must occur between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., and the bill also amends existing sale hour restrictions. The changes take effect on July 1, 2023.
