Relating to the audit of an election using an electronic voting system.

Requires manual counts of at least 1% of election day polling locations and early voting locations, or three locations each, whichever is greater, where electronic voting systems were used.

Mandates manual counts of ballot-by-mail ballots in at least 1% of precincts using automatic tabulating equipment, or three precincts, whichever is greater.

Requires the general custodian to designate early voting ballot board members to perform manual counts and allows additional members if needed.

Mandates that all counties participate in risk-limiting audits for statewide races regardless of the ballot counting method used.

Sets the manual count deadline to within 21 days after election day, or 30 days if a risk-limiting audit is performed.

Extends the risk-limiting audit completion deadline to 24 hours before the canvass or a date prescribed by the secretary of state.

Requires posting of audit results on county websites and delivery of written reports to the secretary of state within three days of completion.
