Relating to repayment of certain mental health professional education loans.

Added chemical dependency counselors, licensed master social workers, and certified school counselors to the list of eligible mental health professionals for loan repayment assistance.

Added new payment tiers for professionals fluent in languages of need ($5,000 one-time), those practicing in counties with 150,000 or fewer residents ($10,000 one-time), and those serving for fourth and fifth years ($15,000 per year).

Increased maximum repayment assistance amounts for most professional categories, with physicians receiving up to $180,000, psychologists and clinical social workers up to $100,000, and other professionals up to $80,000 or less depending on qualifications.

Added requirement that chemical dependency counselors must have received both their license and most recent degree within the same 12-month period to qualify for the $50,000 tier.

Established September 1, 2025 as the effective date for new provisions, with grandfathering for applications submitted before that date.

Added authority for the board to use up to $1 million in appropriated funds for marketing the program to students and professionals.
