Relating to construction standards for certain recreational vehicle parks and campgrounds.

SB 385 establishes minimum construction standards for privately owned recreational vehicle parks and campgrounds in Texas. It requires these facilities to follow the National Fire Protection Association's 2021 standards for fire safety and construction (excluding Section 1.1.1), but does not apply to government-run parks. Local governments cannot impose stricter safety rules than these state standards. Existing parks have until September 1, 2026, to comply, with the law taking effect September 1, 2025.
