Relating to the applicability of the Texas Electrical Safety and Licensing Act to, and the regulation by certain political subdivisions of, the installation of roofing materials containing integrated photovoltaic technology.

Added exemptions for cable operator facilities, on-site sewage disposal systems, agricultural buildings (excluding processing), well pumps, HUD-code manufactured housing, plumbing fixture work by licensed plumbers, residential appliance maintenance, municipal pool electrical maintenance, and roofing contractors installing photovoltaic materials without electrical connections.
Added prohibition preventing municipalities from adopting or enforcing ordinances that ban roofing contractors from installing photovoltaic roofing materials when they don't connect them to the building's electrical wiring system.
Reorganized and renumbered the list of exempt electrical work categories from 16 items to 24 items to incorporate the new exemptions.
Established September 1, 2025 as the effective date for the Act.
