Relating to notice of the health of children attending and adults employed by a child-care facility.

HB 724 requires Texas child-care facilities to voluntarily share specific health information with parents and the public. It directs facilities to provide notice about: (1) the percentage of children at the facility who are immunized per state health codes, (2) the percentage of staff members who are immunized per CDC adult guidelines, and (3) the facility’s handwashing policy to prevent infection spread. The bill applies directly to licensed child-care facilities and aims to increase transparency about health practices. It does not mandate reporting to the state but gives facilities the option to share this data. The law takes effect September 1, 2025.
