The CME must cover specific adoption procedures, including parental rights termination, voluntary termination processes, hospital release protocols, post-termination contact terms, emergency infant care, financial assistance for expectant mothers, and differences between private adoption and foster care adoption. Physicians may count these hours toward existing CME requirements under Texas law.
