Relating to the display of the pledge of allegiance to the United States flag and the pledge of allegiance to the Texas flag in public school classrooms.

HB 3152 requires Texas public schools to prominently display both the U.S. flag and Texas flag, along with the text of the pledges of allegiance to each flag, in every classroom where students are assigned. Schools must comply with this display requirement beginning in the 2025-2026 school year. The bill explicitly states that school districts cannot be required to spend public funds for these displays - they may instead accept donations or grants to cover costs. This amendment to the Education Code applies to all public school classrooms across Texas.
