HB 2543 requires broadband providers in Texas to ensure their employees and contractors clearly identify themselves when working on other people's property. Specifically, workers must wear badges, name tags, or clothing displaying the provider's name or logo, and any vehicles used on the property must have the provider's name or logo visibly displayed on both sides. This applies to all broadband providers performing work on residential or commercial properties within Texas. The law takes effect on September 1, 2025.
