Relating to law enforcement reports concerning certain arrest information of persons who are not lawfully present in the United States.

HB 1068 requires Texas municipal police departments and sheriff's offices to annually post on their websites by January 31 a report detailing criminal offenses committed by people arrested who are known to not be lawfully present in the United States. The report must list each offense for which such individuals were arrested and the total number of offenses per person. This applies to all arrests where the department confirms the person's immigration status is not lawful. The bill takes effect September 1, 2025, and does not change immigration enforcement but mandates transparency about arrest-related offenses.
