Local Government, General - As introduced, requires proposed contingent fee contracts for legal services between a political subdivision of this state and a private-sector attorney to be approved by the attorney general and reporter prior to execution of the contract. - Amends TCA Title 7; Title 8 and Title 29.

Employees, Employers - As enacted, allows for eligible employees to be absent four weeks from work following a living organ donation surgery; requires the department of health to create living organ donor informational material and make such material available on the department's website. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 8; Title 50; Title 56 and Title 68.

Highways, Roads and Bridges - As enacted, authorizes a county or municipality to request the department of transportation to conduct a highway traffic noise study for residential properties located along the sound propagation path of a state or interstate highway if certain criteria are met. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 3 and Title 54.

General Assembly, Statement of Intent or Position - Approves, in accordance with statutory requirements and subject to the oversight and approval of the department of transportation, the Nolensville Pike, Gallatin Pike, and Downtown corridor projects as included in Davidson County’s Choose How You Move transportation improvement program, adopted by voters on November 5, 2024. -
