Public Records - As introduced, requires personal information of certain state and local officials to be maintained confidentially upon request; authorizes the release of such information by court order, subpoena, or pursuant to an active law enforcement investigation. - Amends TCA Title 10, Chapter 7.

However, this confidentiality can be overridden by a court order, subpoena, or active law enforcement investigation. The bill requires agencies to redact such information from public records when possible but does not restrict access to other public documents.
