A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ENACTING THE "ENGINEERING ADVANCEMENT AND PUBLIC SAFETY ACT" BY AMENDING SECTION 40-22-220, RELATING TO LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS FOR ENGINEERS, SO AS TO ALLOW QUALIFIED NONDEGREED INDIVIDUALS TO BECOME LICENSED ENGINEERS THROUGH VERIFIED EXPERIENCE AND RIGOROUS NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS WHILE MAINTAINING THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF PUBLIC PROTECTION.
