AN ACT RELATING TO CRIMINAL OFFENSES -- ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION OF ELDERS--ABUSE AND ISOLATION OF ELDERS OR DEPENDENT ADULTS -- THE PETER FALK CRIMINAL ISOLATION OF ELDERS ACT (Criminalizes isolation of an elder or dependent adult and would provide that certain notification requirements be fulfilled on behalf of elder persons or dependent adults.)

AN ACT RELATING TO STATE AFFAIRS AND GOVERNMENT -- ELDERLY AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT (Further defines the duties of the department of elderly affairs with regard to elder caregiver respite services.)

AN ACT RELATING TO CRIMINAL PROCEDURE -- EXPUNGEMENT OF CRIMINAL RECORDS (Entitles person to have criminal conviction records expunged if the offense is decriminalized subsequent to the conviction.)

AN ACT RELATING TO CRIMINAL PROCEDURE -- EXPUNGEMENT OF CRIMINAL RECORDS (Entitles person to have criminal conviction records expunged if the offense is decriminalized subsequent to the conviction.)

AN ACT RELATING TO HEALTH AND SAFETY -- OFFICE OF MEDICAL EXAMINERS (Provides that the state medical examiner is to conduct a multi-disciplinary team review of drug-related overdose deaths.)

AN ACT RELATING TO FOOD AND DRUGS -- THE GOOD SAMARITAN OVERDOSE PREVENTION ACT OF 2016 (Requires the director of the department of health to develop best practices for co-prescribing opioid antagonists to patients who are prescribed opioid analgesics and allows police and medical personnel to provide an opioid antagonist.)

AN ACT RELATING TO MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES - AUTOMATED SCHOOL-ZONE-SPEED-ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM (Requires the use of yellow, flashing school zone speed signs and require written warning citations for first offenses, a fine up to forty-five dollars ($45) for second offenses and referral to the traffic tribunal for all subsequent offenses.)

AN ACT RELATING TO EDUCATION -- HEALTH AND SAFETY OF PUPILS (Requires that effective January 1, 2019, all school buildings where students are in attendance would be required to have carbon monoxide detectors installed and maintained therein.)

AN ACT RELATING TO TAXATION -- PROPERTY EXEMPTION (Exempts the North Kingstown, Exeter Animal Protection League, Inc., from taxation in the town of North Kingstown, Rhode Island.)

AN ACT RELATING TO CRIMINAL PROCEDURE -- TRIALS (Restricts the use of a victim's gender or sexual orientation as a defense by any defendant claiming provocation, diminished capacity or self-defense and prohibits the court from allowing such information into evidence.)
