An Act amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, in school health services, further providing for health services, for reports and for interagency coordinating council for child health, nutrition and physical education; and, in terms and courses of study, further providing for physical education.

Changed the list of sponsors to include Representative Webster and removed Representative Hill-Evans.

Expanded the list of prior printer's numbers to include 1882.

Added a new provision requiring schools to provide physical education aligned with state academic standards.

Clarified that height and weight measurements must be used to track growth patterns under specific state regulations.

Changed the exemption request language to specify that only a 'legal guardian' (not just a parent) can request an exemption from height and weight measurements.

Added a new subsection allowing the calculation of Body Mass Index (BMI) solely for reporting purposes, provided student confidentiality is maintained.
