MINOR
The bill was amended to clarify that state funds must not exceed 50% of the total program cost, and to specify that these funds are provided to a contracted statewide nonprofit entity rather than directly to a national foundation. The summary section was also updated to remove references to the bill being 'as introduced' since it now reflects the final version.
FISCAL

Changed the requirement that state funds not exceed 50% of total program costs to explicitly state that this limit applies to funds provided to a contracted statewide nonprofit entity.

Removed language specifying that state funds cover the wholesale cost and mailing of books, replacing it with a broader reference to covering the cost and mailing of books in a fiscal year.

TECHNICAL

Updated the summary section to remove references to the bill as 'as introduced' and to reflect that it now includes House amendments.
