Summary
] [ Requires the Oregon Department of Emergency Management to study emergency management. Directs the department to submit findings to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to emergency management not later than September 15, 2026. ] [ Sunsets on January 2, 2027. ] Delays the date on which responsibility for management of the state multijurisdictional emergency notification system is transferred from the Department of State Police to the Oregon Department of Emergency Management. Declares an emergency, effective on passage.
