Summary
[ Requires a community health improvement plan to serve as the primary regional planning document for all health services and operations and incorporate various other planning documents. ] Requires a coordinated care organization to collaborate with local public health authorities, community mental health programs, local planning committees and hospitals in conducting a community health assessment and adopting a community health improvement plan. Requires local public health authorities, community mental health programs and coordinated care organizations to include in a community health improvement plan any behavioral health plans required by law or by the Oregon Health Authority. Directs the Oregon Health Authority to adopt rules to align the community health improvement plan requirements with other planning or reporting requirements.
