New definitions were added for 'community living support', 'day support activities', 'direct support professional', 'employment services', 'provider agency', 'residential training facility', 'residential training home', and 'supported living services'.
The bill now requires the Department of Human Services to adjust contract payments for inflation annually based on the U.S. City Average Consumer Price Index, effective July 1 of each year.
The sunset provision that would have ended the bill's requirements on January 2, 2027, was removed from the main text.
The report submission deadline was changed from September 15, 2026 to April 30 of each year for calculating inflation adjustments.
