Added new subsection D allowing digitized images or electronic copies of original instruments to satisfy recording requirements when submitted electronically under the Uniform Real Property Electronic Recording Act.

Added new subsection E clarifying that the section does not apply to plats, Uniform Commercial Code filings, or other instruments filed under separate laws.

Added new subsection F establishing that all documents accepted for filing, including those filed before February 18, 1997, are deemed to comply with the section's requirements and provide constructive notice to third parties.

Modified margin requirements to specify that the top margin of the first page must be at least two inches and all other margins at least one inch, with provisions for stray markings not voiding document acceptance.

Modified document size requirements to specify documents must measure no larger than 8.5 inches by 14 inches and provide sufficient space for documentary stamps and recording information.

Modified fee structure for instruments with more than twenty-five legal descriptions per page, maintaining the $1.00 additional fee per excess description.
