SB 790 requires Oklahoma's State Board of Education to develop a statewide program teaching positive character traits (like courage, integrity, respect, and responsibility) and personal skills to students in grades pre-K through 12. Public school districts and charter schools must consult a committee of parents, teachers, and community members before adopting the program.
