SB 621 exempts certain waste incinerators from future Oklahoma regulations. It applies specifically to municipal waste combustors already regulated under federal rules (40 C.F.R. Part 60, Subpart Eb) and overseen by the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality. These facilities would no longer face new state rules covering medical waste, hospital waste, commercial solid waste, or industrial solid waste incineration.
