HB 1383 updates Oklahoma's waterfowl hunting regulations. It requires a $20 license for Oklahoma residents aged 18+ and a $30 license for nonresidents to hunt waterfowl. Nonresidents are restricted to hunting on public lands south of I-40 and east of I-35 only on Mondays through Thursdays, with hunting prohibited on Fridays through Sundays. Those arrested without a license can buy a temporary 30-day license for $100 (residents) or $175 (nonresidents), with fees funding wetland habitat conservation. The bill takes effect November 1, 2025.
