Driver licenses; authorizing addition of certain designation to driver license; effective date.

HB 1140 allows Oklahoma residents with a valid lifetime hunting or fishing license to add a "Lifetime Hunting and Fishing," "Lifetime Hunting," or "Lifetime Fishing" designation to their driver's license or state ID card. To request the designation, applicants must provide proof of their lifetime license (original or digital certificate) to Service Oklahoma, which will verify it with the Department of Wildlife Conservation. The designation can be added during license issuance/renewal at no extra cost or requested later for a $25 fee, and Service Oklahoma will remove it if the hunting/fishing license is revoked. The bill takes effect November 1, 2025.
