AN ACT to amend and reenact subsection 14 of section 43-26.1-01 and section 43-26.1-11.1 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to diagnostic imaging by physical therapists.

Added explicit definition that 'practice of physical therapy' includes ordering plain film radiographs to be performed by authorized professionals and interpreted by licensed physicians.

Established eligibility requirements for physical therapists to order imaging: must hold a clinical doctorate degree in physical therapy OR complete a board-approved formal medical imaging training program.

Added requirement that physical therapists ordering diagnostic imaging must report results to the patient's designated specialty or primary care provider within seven days, with specific exceptions for patients without providers or when the provider already received the images.

Changed document formatting from older bill format to current enrollment format with proper legislative assembly identification and certification signatures.
