A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact section 39-06.1-06, subsections 1 and 3 of section 39-06.1-10, and sections 40-05-06, and 40-11-12 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to the amount of statutory fees, entries against a driving record, points assigned to driving records, limitations on city fines and penalties, and commitment of a guilty person for nonpayment of fines or costs.

Replaced the old speed limit violation point schedule with a detailed list of 30 specific traffic violations and their assigned point values.

Added specific point assignments for various violations including equipment defects, parking violations, and motorcycle operation rules.

Changed the section reference from subsection 1 to subsection 3 of section 39-06.1-10 of the North Dakota Century Code.

Removed the old speed limit point schedule that assigned points based on miles per hour over the limit.
