A BILL for an Act to create and enact a new section to chapter 54-60 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to the creation of a rural community endowment fund and a rural community endowment fund committee; to provide an appropriation for the rural community endowment fund; to provide for a transfer; and to provide for a report.

The bill was renumbered from 25.0231.03000 to 25.0231.04000 and the appropriation amount for the Rural Community Endowment Fund was reduced from $50,000,000 to $5,000,000. The transfer amount to the fund was also reduced from $50,000,000 to $5,000,000, while the department of commerce appropriation remained at $5,000,000. This significantly reduces the total funding available for rural community projects.
