AN ACT to amend and reenact section 43-30-16 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to fees charged by the North Dakota private investigative and security board; to provide for a performance audit of the North Dakota private investigative and security board; and to declare an emergency.

Examination fees for private investigator and security service licenses increased from $100 to $150

Initial and renewal license fees for private investigators and security services increased from $100 to $150, with late fees increasing from $50 to $75 per month

Agency licensing fees increased from $100 to $150 for applications and from $300 to $450 for renewals, with late fees increasing from $100 to $150 per month

Private security training certificate fees increased from $25 to $40 for initial issuance, with renewal fees set at $40 and late fees at $15 per month

Armed certificate fees increased from $30 to $45 annually, with late fees increasing from $10 to $15 per month

Duplicate license fees increased from $20 to $30

Registration fees for private investigative and security services increased from $30 to $45 for both initial and renewal applications, with late fees increasing from $10 to $15 per month

Certified course instructor fees for armed first responder training increased from $400 to $600 for initial applications and from $300 to $450 for renewals

Mandates a performance audit of the private investigative and security board during the biennium from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027

Declares the act an emergency measure to take effect immediately
