AN ACT to provide an appropriation for defraying the expenses of the legislative branch of state government; to amend and reenact sections 48-08-04, 54-03-10, 54-03-20, and 54-35-10 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to use of legislative rooms and halls and legislative compensation; to provide a statement of legislative intent; to provide for a report; to provide an exemption; and to provide for application, transfer, and cancellation of unexpended appropriations.

Corrected the list of amended North Dakota Century Code sections from 54-03-10, 54-03-20, and 54-35-10 to include 48-08-04 (relating to use of legislative rooms and halls).

Increased operating expenses in Subdivision 1 from $9,962,840 to $10,170,840 and in Subdivision 2 from $5,866,150 to $5,216,150 (with a new public printing line item of $290,000 added).

Adjusted grand total general fund amounts throughout the bill to reflect the updated operating expenses and new line items, reducing the total from $52,544,502 to $52,717,502.

Added Section 4 granting the director of the office of management and budget authority to transfer appropriation authority between line items for legislative management and legislative council upon finding a need.

Updated header formatting and page numbering to match standard enrollment format.
