AN ACT to amend and reenact sections 15.1-07-03, 15.1-07-04, 21-03-04, 21-03-07, 21-03-11, and 21-03-13 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to a school district debt limit election, the requirements of a municipal bond election, and the contents of a ballot.

Added new Section 15.1-07-03 allowing school district boards to place debt limit increase questions on regular or special election ballots.

Modified Section 21-03-07 to explicitly include school districts, park districts, and counties in the 60% voter approval requirement for bond issuance.

Added new Section 15.1-07-04 requiring school districts to publish election notices in official newspapers at least 14 days before debt limit elections.

Updated Section 21-03-07 to clarify that counties, cities, public school districts, and park districts must obtain 60% voter approval for bond issuance.

Added new bill title language covering school district debt limit elections and ballot content requirements in addition to municipal bond elections.
