AN ACT to create and enact a new section to chapter 39-04 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to military sacrifice number plates; and to amend and reenact section 39-04-10.3 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to personalized plates.

Creates a new military sacrifice plate program available to immediate family members of service members who died outside combat zones while serving honorably.

Defines 'immediate family member' to include spouse, parents, siblings, children, and grandparents.

Sets a $25 fee for personalized plates, but waives this fee for military sacrifice, gold star, and prisoner of war plates.

Requires verification of eligibility status by the department before issuing military sacrifice plates.

Mandates that military sacrifice plates be inscribed with a distinctive emblem and the words 'military sacrifice'.
