The final version includes the complete text of the new Article 39 (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) with the expanded definitions, whereas the draft version only showed the beginning of this section.

The definition of 'systemic racism' was altered by removing the word 'but' from the clause stating that the rule of law does not exist, changing the phrasing to 'relationships and struggles' to ensure the sentence reads as a complete assertion rather than a fragmented thought.

The bill's header was updated to include the new bill version identifier 'S558-v-1' and the referral date to the Senate Rules and Operations committee.

The original filing date of March 25, 2025, and the initial document identifier were removed as the bill moved to its first edition.
