Postpones the implementation and enforcement of advanced clean cars II regulations

Bill A 8524 postpones the implementation and enforcement of Advanced Clean Cars II regulations. This bill directs the Department of Environmental Conservation not to enforce rules that would require manufacturers of passenger cars and light-duty trucks to sell an increasing percentage of zero-emission vehicles. These requirements would not take effect earlier than January 1, 2028.
