Authorizes an optional twenty-five year retirement plan for fire marshals I or supervisors of such title in Suffolk county

This bill creates an optional retirement plan for fire marshals I and supervisors in Suffolk County or participating towns/villages. Eligible employees can retire after 25 years of service with a pension equal to half their final average salary, increasing by 1/60th of that salary for each additional year up to 75% of their final average salary. The county or town must adopt the plan by resolution, and employees can retire without age restrictions once they meet the 25-year service requirement. The plan applies only to employers that choose to participate.
