Requires soccer programs, lacrosse programs, ice hockey programs, and field hockey programs to provide informational packets about concussions to parents and guardians of children participating in soccer programs

This bill expands concussion safety requirements to include lacrosse, ice hockey, and field hockey programs, in addition to the previously covered football and soccer programs. It mandates that all these sports provide informational packets about concussions and sub-concussive blows to the parents or guardians of participating children. The amendment also updates the legal definitions to explicitly cover these new sports within the Public Health Law.
