Provides that persons with a disability shall be eligible to receive a fishing license for a reduced fee

This bill (A 5292) creates a discounted fishing license program for eligible individuals with disabilities. It allows residents who have lived in the state for at least 30 days and meet the disability definition under Executive Law §292(21) to obtain a fishing license for a fixed $5 annual fee, instead of standard rates. The provision applies to all fishing licenses for which the individual would otherwise qualify. The bill takes effect 120 days after enactment.
