Relates to the definition of an indoor area; and to repealing certain provisions of the public health law relating thereto

This bill updates the legal definition of "indoor area" in public health law to clarify which spaces require health regulations. It defines an indoor area as having a roof, walls covering more than 75% of the space (theoretical wall area), and natural airflow without mechanical ventilation. The health commissioner can adjust these rules (minimum 50% wall coverage) for public health needs, and must create rules to define terms like "notional wall area." The bill also repeals an outdated section of the law and takes effect immediately.
