Requires maternity patients are supplied with an immunization schedule and recommendations for newborns

This bill requires hospitals and birth centers to provide new parents with a printed informational leaflet containing the official immunization schedule and recommendations for newborns. The leaflet must be distributed at pre-booking, during maternity care, or at discharge, and must include the schedule established by health officials under existing law. Hospitals may also offer additional explanatory materials alongside the leaflet. The health department must make this information available online for public access.
